A Personal Message from Patrick Bravo!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site! I am running for the Akron School Board because I believe our students, families and teachers are worth our time, our support, and our respect and I look forward to representing them as a member of the Akron School Board. We are fortunate, in Akron, to have an excellent school system that provides opportunities for children and families of all backgrounds, interests and goals. However, everything that has been built over the last several years through the hard work of teachers and staff, community leaders, school board members, students, and families continues to be threatened by a struggling economy that threatens to undo all of the progress that has been made. This represents an exciting challenge for someone who is willing to step up and be a leader. I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with our schools, our students and our families to keep Akron Public Schools a great place to learn and grow! I want to serve the students and families of Akron Public schools, to be an advocate for our children, a partner with our parents and an ambassador to the community. I would like to personally ask for your support, and your vote, on November 8.
